The Maple Valley Street Rats host a Cruise-in that begins the 1st Friday of May and end the last Friday of September. The Cruise-in’s are located in the back parking lot of Walmart in The Maple Valley Street Rats hosts Cruise-In’s every Friday night beginning the 1st Friday in May and Covington. The address for Walmart is 17432 SE 270th Pl. The event starts at 4pm and usually runs until about 7:30-8:00 pm.
We are a classic car and hotrod club and are welcoming all pre 1980 vehicles . no motorcyles are accepted. Vehicles must be licensed and street legal. We play music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and into the early 80’s. In addition we hand out tickets and award small items to the lucky ticket holders. This is a great event and providing it is not raining we have gotten as many as 300 cars at this event. So come and enjoy the great music and check out some of the coolest classic and hotrod’s in the northwest.
We do a canned food drive for the Maple Valley food bank and also ask you provide a $2 dollar donation as you enter our lot. Note that this is just a donation and it is not a requirement to enter our cruise-in but greatly appreciated. If you are there just to look at all the great cars, a donation is not required but we will be more than happy to accept it. All the money we collect goes to our scholarship fund where we provide funding for students that are enrolled in Automotive classes to become future auto/truck mechanics of the future. Our club has provided in excess of $55,000 to this scholarship fund. This year we have awarded $6,000 to 5 new students that are enrolled to attend classes in the automotive field. So, come enjoy this event,
